Saltersgate School is a non-denominational primary and secondary school that supports children and young people with a wide range of additional and complex support needs. Placing the human rights and needs of every child and young person at the centre of education to deliver improvements in health and wellbeing, our new Head Teacher will empower and encourage staff to think creatively in terms of educational provision to maximise potential and support all children and young people within the school to flourish and be happy in future destinations.
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual, fully registered with the GTCS, and with direct experience in a leadership or senior management role providing education provision for children and young people with complex and profound additional support needs. As an effective and visible leader you will have the ability to promote and develop a positive school ethos coupled with direct experience of working with a range of partners including Allied Health Professionals to provide bespoke education packages.
