An opportunity to join one of the UK’s most influential infrastructure groups and help shape the future of port development.
Forth Ports is a powerhouse of UK trade, operating eight strategically located ports – including Tilbury, London’s closest deep-water port. Collectively, they move over 31 million tonnes of cargo annually, contributing £950 million to the economy and powering supply chains across the country. Tilbury alone handles 36% of the Thames’ cargo flow, generates over half our turnover, and has ambitious plans to double throughput and triple direct employment over the next decade.
Forth Ports is seeking a strategic and passionate Group Head of Health and Safety to provide visible leadership across a complex, multi-site operation, ensuring best-in-class standards in safety, risk and compliance. You will influence at Executive and Board level, champion a culture of continuous improvement, and play a key role in supporting ongoing growth and transformation across the business.
Candidates will bring senior H&S leadership experience from ports, infrastructure, logistics, construction, or heavy industry, with a proven track record of delivering strategy across multi-site environments. With deep knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks, you will be a credible adviser to senior stakeholders and an influential leader of teams.
