A well-established, family-owned business based near Stirling is seeking to appoint a highly capable Finance Director to join its senior leadership team in a confidential appointment. This is a key role at the heart of the organisation, working closely with the CEO to shape financial strategy while supporting the ongoing growth and performance of the business.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the finance function, ensuring strong financial control, robust reporting and clear visibility of performance across the organisation. Alongside leading budgeting, forecasting and statutory requirements, the role will focus heavily on providing commercial insight and decision support, helping to translate operational activity into meaningful financial outcomes and driving improvements in profitability and efficiency.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring both strategic perspective and operational engagement. You will play a central role in strengthening financial discipline, enhancing reporting capability and supporting performance across teams, while also managing cashflow, working capital and risk. In addition, you will lead and develop the finance team, building a high-quality, service-oriented function that partners effectively across the business.
The role will suit an experienced Finance Director or a senior finance leader ready to step into a number one position, with strong commercial judgement, credibility at executive level and a collaborative approach.
