Following the planned retirement of Chief Executive Jason MacGilp, they are seeking an exceptional leader to build on Blackwood’s distinctive strengths and guide the organisation through its next phase of development. Working closely with the Board and Executive Leadership Team, you will provide strategic direction and visible leadership, ensuring Blackwood continues to deliver outstanding outcomes for customers whilst driving innovation, enhancing organisational performance and strengthening long-term sustainability. Central to your success will be a commitment to preserving Blackwood’s strong values-based culture and ensuring the people we support remain at the heart of every decision.
The successful candidate will be a purpose-driven leader with a proven track record of delivering organisational success within a complex stakeholder environment. Combining strategic vision, commercial acumen and sound judgement, you will bring the credibility and resilience required to lead through change, develop high-performing teams and inspire confidence across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Comfortable operating within a regulated environment, you will be equally adept at shaping long-term strategy and ensuring effective organisational delivery.
