Livingston James is delighted to be retained by AG Barr to recruit their new Head of Planning & Supply Chain Optimisation

AG Barr, one of Scotland’s most well-established businesses, is now looking to appoint a new Head of Planning & Supply Chain Optimisation. The role will be responsible for the planning process across all Barr Soft Drinks (BSD) portfolios, and business units, and for identifying and executing changes to optimise the BSD supply chain design. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, and sitting on the Supply Chain Leadership team, this role will be a key business partner for the BSD Marketing, Category and Commercial teams.

 

The role requires an experienced FMCG Supply Chain leader with a proven track record of operating successfully at a senior level covering strategic and operational priorities. The incumbent should have strong business acumen with the capability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels in the organisation. The Head of Planning & Supply Chain Optimisation will need to be capable of managing complex projects and channelling inputs from a number of different stakeholders, to create a common purpose and communication plan.
