Livingston James Hosts Charity Fundraising Quiz Night

On Thursday 17th August, Livingston James Group hosted a charity fundraising Quiz Night. This great event, hosted alongside our annual corporate challenge, raises funds for our chosen charity each year. This year we are supporting St Margaret’s Children and Family Care Society.

St Margaret’s aims to support children and families who have been impacted by adoption. This charity is one that is very close to our CEO, Jamie Livingston, and it was great to hear about his personal experience with the charity and his own adoption on the night.

The evening was a lot of fun, and with 11 teams competing, the scores were very tight. After 5 rounds, it was Hamilton Forth Consultant, Rachel Sim and her team who came out victorious. Alongside the quiz, our great presenters, Will Dodds and Fraser Burnett, ensured the raffle and auction ran smoothly.

A big thank you to the amazing businesses who donated prizes for this and to Box Hub Glasgow for providing the venue and staff on the night.

We were delighted to raise over £3,000 for this wonderful Charity. With the fun part over, it is straight into training for the second part of this year’s Corporate Challenge: The Office to Office Cycle. Stay tuned to see how we get on, cycling from our Edinburgh to our Glasgow office!
