The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) works in partnership with the voluntary sector to advance their shared values. They lobby and campaign to advance the interests of their members and the people and communities that they support. Their services help charities, third sector organisations and individuals across Scotland focus on what they do best, whether that is supporting the most vulnerable people in our communities or conducting cutting edge research.

To ensure that they continue to make a difference, they require a Chief Executive who brings with them a unique set of skills and networks to match. This role is a unique opportunity to influence and help shape the future of Scotland. In a world that is rapidly changing this is a chance for a visionary leader to embrace the best of emerging technologies, networks and operating practices, and deliver ongoing positive transformation that will help to shape the future of the third sector, making a real difference to people’s lives.

Focused on supporting, promoting and connecting organisations from across the third sector, SCVO are looking to appoint an experienced Chief Executive to provide both strategic leadership and financial management. Overseeing the successful delivery of key strategic priorities, you will also promote and enhance the profile of SCVO and ensure continued recognition of their impact and influence on the third sector across Scotland. Through optimising the development and use of emerging technologies you will also ensure SVCO supports their members and drives transformation in service delivery.
