Leadership Conversations with Mark Beaumont: achieving world class performance

Sponsored by SSE, Livingston James were delighted to host the latest in our series of Leadership Conversations events at which Mark Beaumont, ultra-endurance athlete and broadcaster, described what it took to cycle round the world in less than 80 days.

He shared his experience of what training, planning and strategies he and his team had in place to allow him to deliver this world record-breaking performance.  And how critical it was for him and each member of the team to understand and be accountable for their roles in order to achieve this success.

In ‘re-taking the world’, he demonstrated the massive leaps in performance of which people are capable and how he and his team delivered this as a result of their own maximum performance.
