Join Right There and Help Prevent Homelessness

Having celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2024, Right There remains dedicated to providing tailored support to individuals in their homes and communities. The organisation meets people where they are—without judgment—walking alongside those who need support and working to prevent homelessness and family separation.

Everyone’s journey is unique, and the path home looks different for each person. That’s why Right There provides individualised support, challenging stereotypes along the way. No matter the circumstances, Right There is here to help, not to judge.

As part of the organisation’s strategic growth and commitment to delivering the highest-quality support, three new Head of Service roles have been created. These positions will bring expertise, strategic direction, and capacity to ensure Right There’s programmes thrive.

Head of Children & Families

This role is responsible for developing, expanding, and strengthening the strategic presence of the organisation’s Children & Families and Mentoring services. You will enhance Right There’s reputation and expertise in this field, driving positive outcomes for young people and families while amplifying their collective voice.

Head of Homelessness Prevention

You will play a key role in ensuring individuals receive tailored support to build stable, secure lives and achieve their goals—no matter how big or small. Leading service delivery across multiple locations, you will uphold high standards, ensure strong governance and compliance, and inspire teams. In addition, you will drive new partnerships, identify sector opportunities, and strengthen strategic presence to support Right There’s growth and long-term impact.

Head of Housing (Temporary Accommodation)

You will support adults and families taking their first steps toward independent living by expanding Right There’s landlord and property portfolio across Glasgow. Through the organisation’s Help to Rent programme, you will facilitate access to private rentals and remove financial barriers, such as upfront deposits. You will also explore future opportunities to provide accommodation through the private rented sector where the need is greatest.

If you share Right There’s passion of preventing homelessness, one person at a time, for as long as it’s needed, we encourage you to explore the relevant role profile below.
