Celebrating Scotland Food & Drink’s 10 Years
We were delighted to be invited to the Scotland Food and Drink 10 year anniversary at the National Museums of Scotland, an amazing venue for a wonderful evening. Greeted on arrival with some warming whisky cocktails we were then welcomed to the evening by Kenneth Shand, Senior Partner of the sponsor Dentons and part of the original team that helped get SF&D launched.
There was a very efficient AGM run by David Kilshaw, Chairman of Scotland Food & Drink, who also welcomed James Withers, current CEO to say a few words and he gave a heartfelt and humorous thanks to the assembled audience.
The guests were then treated to some of Scotland’s finest produce in finger food form which showcased a wonderful mix of meats, seafood, vegetables and fruits, all washed down with some equally excellent gin, craft beer, soft drinks and mixers. A great way to celebrate one of Scotland’s finest membership bodies who have done so much to ensure that Food & Drink is recognised as the important contributor to the Scottish economy that it is. Looking forward to the next 10 years.
