Livingston James Partners with ASET International Energy Training Academy to Appoint Next Chief Executive Officer

ASET International Energy Training Academy
Chief Executive Officer
Aberdeen (Hybrid)

Livingston James is delighted to be supporting ASET International Energy Training Academy to recruit a new Chief Executive Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of the UK’s most respected specialist technical training providers at a pivotal point in its development.

Lead growth. Shape workforce capability. Build the future of technical skills.

For more than 30 years, ASET has helped organisations develop skilled, safe and competent workforces through industry-leading technical and safety training. With a strong reputation across the energy and industrial sectors, ASET is recognised as one of the UK’s leading specialist technical training providers.

With a clear ambition to accelerate growth and expand into new markets, sectors and geographies, ASET is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation through its next phase of development.

Reporting to the Board, you will provide strategic, commercial and operational leadership, driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships and strengthening ASET’s position across energy transition, renewables, utilities, maritime and wider industrial markets. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines long-term strategic planning with hands-on business development, customer engagement and organisational leadership.

You will be a commercially driven senior leader with a proven track record of delivering growth, identifying new market opportunities and developing strategic customer relationships. An inspiring people leader, you will have experience building high-performing teams and translating ambitious plans into tangible commercial outcomes.

Whilst experience within training, workforce development or related sectors would be advantageous, the Board’s priority is to appoint a leader with the commercial acumen, credibility and drive to build on ASET’s strong foundations, accelerate growth and position the organisation for long-term success and impact.

If you are an ambitious leader who thrives on creating growth, developing partnerships and turning opportunity into tangible results, please reach out to Kirsty Mclardy at Livingston James – [email protected], our retained recruitment partner, for the full role profile.

ASET is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status or pregnancy and maternity.
