Glasgow Brain Game Raises Record £275,000 for Marie Curie

Livingston James was delighted to support this year’s Marie Curie Glasgow Brain Game, which raised an incredible £275,000 to support the vital work carried out by Marie Curie across Scotland.

Now in its 19th year, the Glasgow Brain Game has become one of Marie Curie’s flagship fundraising events, bringing together hundreds of guests from across Scotland’s business community for an evening of entertainment, fundraising and friendly competition.

The funds raised will help Marie Curie continue providing expert care and support to people living with terminal illness and their loved ones. To put the impact into perspective, the £275,000 raised equates to around 12,000 hours, or 500 days, of nursing care.

We are incredibly proud that our Group CEO, Mark Lewis, once again chaired the event committee and helped lead another record-breaking evening. The success of the Glasgow Brain Game is only possible thanks to the dedication of the committee, volunteers, sponsors, partners and supporters who give their time, expertise and generosity each year.

As one of the event’s main sponsors, Livingston James was proud to play a part in helping the Glasgow Brain Game continue its remarkable fundraising journey. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all of this year’s sponsors, partners, prize donors and volunteers, whose generosity and commitment helped make the event possible and contributed to another outstanding fundraising total.

Thank you also to everyone who purchased tables, attended on the night and donated so generously. The continued support of Scotland’s business community makes a meaningful difference to those cared for by Marie Curie and their families.

With the event set to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2027, the committee is looking to build on this year’s momentum and make an even greater impact for Marie Curie in the years ahead.
